1) Who we are
Meera RNZ (“we”, “us”) provides money exchange and rate-notification services. Contact: support@biznexus.ca
2) What we collect

Account & identity data: name, phone, email, docs required for KYC/AML (if applicable).

Transaction data: currency pairs, amounts, rates, timestamps, payment method (last 4 digits only).

Communications: messages you send us on WhatsApp and other channels.

Technical data: device info, IP, logs (for security and fraud prevention).
3) How we use data

Provide rates and complete exchange transactions.

Verify identity and comply with KYC/AML and record-keeping obligations.

Prevent fraud, ensure security, and meet legal requirements.

Send service messages (e.g., rate alerts, confirmations) via WhatsApp or SMS/email.

Improve our services (analytics—aggregated where possible).
4) Legal bases: Consent, contract performance, legal obligation, legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement).
5) Sharing

Service providers: payment processors, ID verification/KYC, cloud/hosting, WhatsApp Business solution providers.

Compliance: regulators, law enforcement when legally required.
We don’t sell personal data.
6) International transfers
If data moves outside your country, we use lawful transfer mechanisms (e.g., SCCs) and safeguards.
7) Retention
Keep data only as long as needed for services and legal/compliance (e.g., KYC/AML retention periods), then delete or anonymize.
8) Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection where applicable. To exercise: contact privacy@biznexus.ca. You can opt out of non-essential messages anytime.
9) Security
Administrative, technical, and physical safeguards; no method is 100% secure.
10) WhatsApp
If you message us on WhatsApp, your messages are processed according to Meta/WhatsApp’s Terms & Privacy and our vendor’s terms if we use a WhatsApp Business provider.
11) Children
Service is not for individuals under 16 (or local min. age). We don’t knowingly process children’s data.
12) Changes
We’ll update this policy as needed. We’ll post updates here with a new “Last updated” date.
